This yemeni lime juice is found on every street corner and 'bufia.' They make it fresh as you order it, which is important because the pith in the lime will turn the juice bitter if you don't drink it right away. In yemen they often call limes 'lemon', even though there is another word in arabic for lime as well, but it can be confusing to begin with. It is really refreshing on a hot summer day and this is a quintessential yemeni drink brings back memories of carefree days.
2.5 cups of water
sugar to taste, about 1/4 to 1/2 cup
Add all ingredients into a blender and pulse it for about 10 seconds, until it becomes like a pulp.
Run it through a blender to remove all the pulp.
